Yea!! I wanted to keep myself away from blogging for sometime. But i never thought that I would have stop writing blogs for six months. Six big months crossed over my life, left some foot prints in my life. In these six months, I got placed in aviation, learnt many new things on aviation sector, took a quick decision of leaving the job behind cos it doesn't suit my nature and decided to move out of that sector and finally i resigned the job also.

It all happened a short span of time. Guess what, All the things happened in my life are truly amazing and most of the events are quite unexpected. When I came out of my university with the so called MBA degree I was seriously regretting for quitting up a job and taking up a MBA.

As chethan Baghat says, the Three Mistakes in my life, Leaving the vfx job, Choosing a wrong course, and that too in a wrong institution. Everyone says, that a MBA degree will give edge in the competitive opportunities market. Its a crap. Its an Illusion. Wherever I go for an interview I can see more n more sad faces attending interviews who are all MBA graduates.

Most of the companies reject Management graduates stating that they are over qualified. many other companies rejects us, stating that they expect more. Nowadays most of the MBA degree holders survive by doing BPO jobs, in which Language skill is more than enough.

It is something like an Economic policy, Demand is less, but Supply is more. So MBA has lost its glamour as well as its reputation. After getting practiced with the real scenario, I recommend the people who call me and ask for some guidance to join in a Management school, not to even think of doing a management course.I just tell them to search for a good job and if it is not a good one, try to tolerate the pressure to make yourself settle in that job.

I am actually spending most of my time in thinking of the grave mistake that i have committed earlier and remaining time I am facing up the consequences of my wrong decision in a wrong time.

it is really painful to survive on parents money, at the age of 26. So with lot of pressure in my mind, I am trying out some ways to get a proper and decent job. I don't know whats the future is have for me. But I hope for the best. As of now, I am equipping myself to get into BFSI sector. By mid-year, I will be working somewhere in Banking sector i guess. Rest is in the God's Hand.

Time for Farewell

The End...

As those words emphasize, we the aviation management students of anna university, counting our odd last days. It is been scheduled that our final trimester exams starts on 8th march. And our classes are already got over. Right now we are writing our internals and even that also getting over by Monday. Thats all. the second phase of my college life is getting over. Even though MBA is bit serious and it requires all time working active students... that was a fun part. Actually we didn't had much serious or hectic schedules during our MBA. but we had fun. We played. We feared. We fought. We organised. We celebrated. We achieved. and now the WE gonna break up.We planned to celebrate our farewell on coming Tuesday. We invited our director and our mentor for this unofficial ceremony. Even though it is unofficial it shows many responsibilities and serious notes in front of us. Once this farewell gonna get over, my schedule will squeeze me like a sugarcane in the pulp[ing machine. SAP Practicals, Semester Exams, Research Project and all above that the management job.

It is not going to be so easy to adopt the work culture again after a long gap of two years. And the airline industry which is being making profits in seconds.. it is very very important to be perfect and sincere. It is too hard for me to be punctual and perfect. Anyways i don have any other option.. so fol the next two or three months will mold myself to fit into it.

and all along this, i would like to share one important moment of my life. I got a chance to host a live music concert with the presence of my university's vice chancellor and Dr. Gnana Samanbandhan, well known tamil speaker. I did a decent job. At the end my V.C and dean Personally called me and congratulated. He said the presence of mind and my tamil fluency was awesome. my dean told me to try to get int Entertainment Industry. That was a fantastic moment that i will never forget. and i got more n more appreciations from my fellow students. The nice thing in this , after that show, most of the unversity students recognises me and they congratulate. I think this is the best part about the anchoring. but all this fun getting a full stop now. I don know whether my new company allow me to anchor some function. But am happy with these memories and will remember my MBA days through out my life.

And I believe, end of MBA... Is a new Begining... and am glad and getting myself prepared to welcome the Begining...

Placement Season!!!!

hi fellas,
gonna write in my blog after a little gap. Got little busy with academic activities as we are in final phase. Our MBA days are getting counted. Hardly i will remain in my college premises for one month. thats it. Our fifth trim examination is being scheduled on march 08 and it will get over by march 18.

After that, again gonna get into the hectic ugly lifestyle in which most of my friends got trapped in.In between am planning to do a research study regarding the training models of air carriers. Fortunately i got permission to carry out my project in Air India, Coimbatore.

I got another project cum job offering in Kingfisher Airlines, Ticketing sector. Little confused on taking up amoung those two. Hopefully will carry out the Air India project cos, i don want to get into front desk operations regard to any air carrier.

All above that, the thing which gives me more pleasure is, Kingfisher Airlines agreed to recruit us for various management positions in the new established Kingfisher Express, cargo division. interview date and other things yet to be finalised. But am sure ten students will get placed there at the least. We have been talking with other potential recruiters for more placements for my batch mattes. Will share more great news in my next blog.

finished... almost

Atlast...
finished my long time work. Completed my department's placement brochure. After a long struggle, almost completed it. Am feeling little relieved now. The work started little earlier. Started designing the brochure and showed the rough design to my director two months back. He has given lot of corrections. Then he forwarded the design to the vice chancellor. He added some silly corrections. Then the registrar. I had a long discussion with my university's vice chancellor to improve the content. Actually they were satisfied with the basic design. But not with the content. That's the hectic part. We didn't had a good content creator. That slowed the process a lot. But i took the risk. Referred many e-content and got some nice stuff.

Hope my brochure will get approved without any corrections. If it happens in the way i ilked, will write it in the next blog. bye now.

Hopin 4 a Better Year

hey ppl!

2010 has arrived!! I hope this new year will bring up more peace and joy in our life. The past two months were little hectic for me. Actually i wanted to share my experience with the launch of our own activities club, "Aviation management club". But after that function my schedule got little bussy. Practical exams, semester exams everything came in a row and that is the reason for long gap. We successfully inaugurated our club in novemeber. Very first student activity club in my department. The plan is to conduct industrial collaboration progams and events. The Airport Director Mr.M.R.Vasudeva inaugurated the function. He gave very valuable inputs. He advised the students to not to depend on campus placements completely. He enciuraged the students to search and identify their own job based on their interests.

After that , we gone through hectic SAP lab. very confusing and hard to understand kinda software. Almost spent five days completely to learn the basics. With that i succeessfully accomplished the given tasks. Got some neat outputs on tiime. Surprisingly i got 'E' grade in SAP lab. (E-Excellent). Still i dont know how. But anyways i secured a decent grade and it helped me to boost my CGPA. Now am in 5th TRIM. after that have to undergo one project. Already started the process of identifying project areas and topics. But its a long way to go. Hope everything move out well in this new year. Hoping for a better year this time.

Inaugural Function

Hey guys...
Hope you all doing great. The thing i wanted to share with you all is little different. We organised a grand event for the first time in Anna University. Today the function of Association Inauguration held in my university. The gathering was addressed by Mr. Sarath babu, CEO Food King. The function was grand and am happy to be a part of it. It was good experience... And the inaugural address given by Mr. Sarath was truly inspirational and motivating. A great job over now. Time for Academic activities now. My next internals was scheduled for next week and i started collecting the materials. We also involved ourselves in placement activities. Gladly i refusd to be the Co-ordinator. I dont want to take up the responsibilty. Being a active placement representative for my class is really tough. So i wanted to be a part of the whole class and work. But the class still forcing me to take up the position. And am i still confused on taking up the lead post. Time may change. Whoever be in that position that doesn't matter. How wellhe/she motivates the student...thats more important. Right?other than these stuffs we are working out to conduct three day event completely by our aviation association. I hope this thing will go well. We are trying to make the plan into a shaped one. Thats it folks. will blog more in coming days.. Have fun

Happy Diwali?

hey folks,
the great fun part was over... Diwali was over. But its not like my earlier celeb sessions. The joy, fun part and happiness is some degrees less this time. Am not with my bellowed friends this time. It may be the reason. But i somewhat managed and enjoyed myself by visitin my relatives. Hope you all had a blast that day. I read a short story which got published in a magazine recently. The main plot of the story is the tamil people here are perparing great to welcome the diwali by purchasing expensive clothes, crackers and sweets. But in our nearst sri lanka many tamil people struggling really hard to get some food. We cant celebrate or enjoy any festival if our neighbour house people are in trouble. Its the same situation. We all know the people in lanka are struggling a lot. But we are not in the situation to help them. Our hands are cuffed.

The only thing we can do is, praying for those innocent souls to get some rehabitation soon and should lead a peaceful life.
